Located in the peaceful Picena bay near Vela Luka town on Korcula Island, this house represents a perfect holiday destination for you, your family and friends. Charming stairs will guide you from the stone house to the private beach with sunbeds, a small beach bar (in the afternoon you can order a coffee, beer or a dinner) and boats mooring.
Stairs will guide you from the private beach with concrete plateau to the water. Start swimming in the turquoise colored sea directly from the footsteps of your house!
The inside of the house features 2 separated bedrooms with double bed, 2 separated bedrooms with single bed with comfortable mattresses and a fully equipped kitchen in warm red colors. Next to the kitchen you can find the living room with SAT-TV and dining area.
The inside is furnished in a modern style architecture, accompanied with romantic Mediterranean details – which remind on this wonderful surrounding with astonishing sunsets.
The outside of the house is a true feast for the eyes. Everywhere you look, you discover wonderful Mediterranean vegetation and in front lies the endless Adriatic Sea. As the property offers a mooring place you can also rent a kayak an discover the many hidden bays and secluded beaches.
Beach
The first pebble beach is located directly underneat the vacation house.
There are also other multiple bays in the vicinity offering a unique experience on various beach types. From pebble to stone beaches, to sandy type on the other side of the island. There is something for everyone.
Pebble beach enthusiasts should visit the island very close to the house – the Proizd island (a local boat takes you there 4 times a day from Vela Luka to island Proizd, 20-minute ride one way). Proizd island was selected as the most popular beach in the Adriatic Sea in 2008. It has 4 beautiful pebble beaches, one of which is nudist.
Surroundings
Picena bay, where the vacation house is located, is a small bay 5 km away from Vela Luka (diametrically on the other side of the island of Korcula, where the historical town of Korcula lies).
Another beautiful bay is Stracincica. To reach it you need to drive past the local villages, only 5 min away Vela Luka where the ferry brings you from Split and where you will find all the shops, ice cream, post office, local market, bakery, restaurants and bars.
The bay doesn’t know mass tourism since it is a very quiet, peaceful bay with few tourists, and with no shops, restaurants and other similar facilities (all this is available at Vela Luka, a 5 minute-drive), so the experience of your holidays is a pure “just me, endless sea and peace”.
In Gradina Bay (20 min by car) you can find a wonderful restaurant. They have a very delicious Mediterranean food with lots of fresh fish and a wonderful beach-front location. Next reccomendable restaurant is restaurant agrotourism Miletic, which is one of the most authentic Mediterranean places on the Island.
