For the first time ever, Zadar airport achieved a turnover of half a million passengers on 26 October, 2016.
The record in passenger traffic was celebrated by a prize given to the 500,000th passenger – the lucky Jelena Rukavina who was heading on a flight to Dublin.
For the first time in the almost 50-year history of Zadar Airport, the half a million passenger mark was achieved – marking a great success for the city of Zadar and the surrounding areas.
Zadarski List reports that Jelena Rukavina was the lucky passenger, and was awarded a prize including a return ticket on a Ryanair flight to the destination of her choice, a gift certificate to the duty free shop, and a bouquet of flowers. More info
